Manchester Psych Fest Announces 2024 First Wave

Manchester Psych Fest has announced a stellar first wave of acts for its 2024 edition, with cult hero Baxter Dury and goth five-piece The Horrors topping a massive list of artists from the UK and beyond.

Manchester Psych Fest is the UK’s tastemaker psychedelic music and arts festival; now looking forward to its 11th edition, following on from the festival’s 10th birthday earlier this year, 2024’s lineup is set to be bigger than ever with more than 60 live acts, taking over Manchester on Saturday 31st August 2024.

Further down the bill are Psych Fest favourites Temples, Irish shoegazers NewDad, French electro-pop outfit Juniore, Yuck favourite Willie J Healey, jazz-folk hero James Holden and Tuareg guitar star Mdou Moctar.

Staying true to its DIY art roots, MPF is collaborating with in-demand visual artist Innerstrings (Overmono, Working Men’s Club, James Holden et al) to provide stunning exclusive Psych Fest video installations

The first wave of acts also includes Nottingham rockers Divorce, riotous Londoners Fat Dog, fuzzy psych outfit Wine Lips, Detroit trio Bonny Doon, the goth-punk force Heartworms, and DIY three-piece HotWax.

2024’s edition will bring over 60 of the most exciting live acts to Manchester’s Albert Hall, O2 Ritz, Manchester Metropolitan University Students’ Union, Gorilla, Canvas, YES and Deaf Institute for an unbelievable day of live music, DJs, workshops, arts, films, talks, food and drink.

Expect another classic at Manchester Psych Fest 2024, with many more acts to be announced in the new year. Tickets are on sale here!
